Lawrence Dean Wolkey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Dean Wolkey (Kansas City, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Elizabeth Wolkey (Schlichenmaier) and Virgil Wolkey; his sister Beverly Ann Chouinard; his son Curtis Lawrence Wolkey; his grandchildren, Kristin Marie Wolkey and Matthew Jared Houghton; and his great grandchild George Kent Quinn.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thiel; his children, Laurel Anne (Quinn) and Robin Shawn (Houghton); his grandchildren, Timothy Curtis Wolkey (Emily), Danielle Shea Maheux (Steve), Colin Matthew Quinn (Micala), Jordan Leigh Mace (Tristan), Brendan Michael Quinn (Jennifer), Garrett Michael Houghton and Sarah Mackenzie Quinn; and his great grandchildren, Mclaren, Thomas, Caroline, Charles Quinn, Aurelia, Julian Maheux, Carter, Beckett Mace, Brody, Rori Quinn, Mary Kate and Claire Wolkey.
