With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kent Brian Roberson of Kansas City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Roberson. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Roberson; his daughter Sarah Shanmugam of San Diego, CA; his brothers, Blake Roberson (Sandy) and Scott Roberson (Carol); his nephew Brian Roberson (Mel); his nieces, Erin Tucker (Joe), Janna (Fabricio) of Toledo, Britni Spriggel (Bobby), Shelby Hoffman (Michael) and Kayla Merriman (Tim); and his uncle George Lund.

The inurnment was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mound Grove Cemetery (1818 N River Blvd, Independence, MO 64050).

Donations in memory of Kent may be made to Health Ed.

“It is with sadness that I heard of Kent's passing. He was my best friend at Truman High. We sat next to each other in the trombone section in band. He honored me as my Best Man for my wedding. When I met Kent, we were like instant friends. I met his Mom and Dad, and they were like another Mom and Dad. What a loving, caring family, no wonder Kent was such a great friend in life. He will be missed. May God grant him rest and peace. My love and prayers for the Roberson family. --David Andrews--”
