Though Kenneth Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kenneth Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Hill and Margaret Hill; and his wife Patricia A. Hill. He is survived by: his son Michael Hill of Kansas City, Missouri; his stepchildren, Kelley Schuberger of Kansas City, Kansas and Kevin Duff (Amy) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and his sister Linda Bunnig (Leroy) of Newville, Pennsylvania.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition, Ken served as a Trustee on the Board of Directors of the National Institute for the Foodservice Industry, which is now the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association.
