We bid farewell to Katie Leigh Ann Grimes of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Lees Summit, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 2, 2024 at the age of 35. Katie Leigh Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Katie Leigh Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Katie Leigh Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her aunt Terri Terry. She is survived by: her parents, Karen Wynn of Braymer, MO and David Smith of Independence, MO; her children, Jayden, Kyleigh, Kaylynn, Jordyn and Keyona; her brother Ryan Grimes of Braymer, MO; and her aunt Chris Sellars of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by three cousins and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family to help with final expenses in care of the funeral home.
