She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Goeters; and her brother Pat Goeters. She is survived by: her siblings, Nai, Hoang and Kheam; her husband Len Bronec; her brother Joe Goeters (Charlotte) of Houston, TX; her sisters-in-law, Jackie Kahn Goeters, Boston and Marilyn Goeters; and also Katherine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Kitty entered the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Community taking the religious name of Sister Lucian Marie.
