He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Burks and Devora Burks. He is survived by: his wife Yecha Hwang; his daughter Sue Aagesen (Nathan); his stepson Thomas Goudy (Muoi Tran); his grandchildren, Andrew Scholler, Yetta Scholler, Annika Aagesen and Mason Aagesen; and his daughter Sheri Steele. He is also survived by two siblings, and numerous extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Terrace Park Cemetery - Lakeside Chapel. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Terrace Park in care of his family.
