It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Felipe Aponte in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe and Josefa; and his sisters, Olga and Edith. He is survived by: his wife Sandi; his children, Rafael Aponte, Brenda Jones (John), Paul Aponte and David Aponte; his siblings, Dalila, Rosaura, Luis, Pedro and Alfredo; and his grandchildren, Austin Jones and Alexis Jones.
