He is survived by: his wife Mimi; his children, David (Ann Eckels) and Sarah (Jeff McCoy); his grandchildren, John "Jack", Thomas "Tommy", Jeanne, William, Molly Eckels, Charlie, Mimi and Ruby Jean McCoy; and his sisters, Katherine "Katie" Eckels Miller (Derek Miller) of Wilmington and Elizabeth "Betsy" Emerson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma..
