He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Maxine Myers and Stanford R. Warner; his daughter Michelle Renee Myers; his grandparents, James Earl and Hannorah Myers (Shehan); and his brother James Patrick Gaffey.
He is survived by: his wife Jerilyn Ann Myers; his son John Michael; his daughter-in-law Mindi Myers; his children, Jimmy Myers of Portland, Oregon, Julie Myers of Prairie Village, Kansas and Jennifer; his son-in-law Nejib McHarek of Lenexa, Kansas; his grandchildren, Will, Ella, Clara Myers, Lily, Jack, Abby, Chloe Swanson, Alexander and Sophia McHarek; his niece Cindy Scharingson (Jeff) of Urbandale; and his nephew Rick Gaffey of Knoxville, Iowa..
