He was predeceased by: his sons, Matthew Alan Acker and John Fredrick Acker; and his granddaughter Chiara Acker. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Lynn Acker; his daughter Jaclyn Acker Garland; his son-in-law Brian Garland; his grandchildren, Matthew Acker Jr., Eli, Mitzi and Goldie Garland; and his great grandchildren, Kasen Ryan Acker and Ryland Matthew Acker.
