She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. John W. Beeks; her parents, Edna Moherman (Van Dyke) and William H. Moherman; and her brothers, W. Scott Moherman and Richard Moherman (Dick).
She is survived by: her daughter Sarah (John Humphrey); and her granddaughter Katherine Brooke Higdon. She is also survived by nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Kansas City Symphony or St. Luke's Hospice.
