She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Ward and Ann Boswell; and her brother Jerry Ward. She is survived by: her niece Keri Boswell White; her nephew Jeff Ward of Louisiana; and her stepchildren, Allen, Nora Lee Hamblen of Kansas City, Donna and Chris Thornton of Kansas City.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Red Cross or your favorite charity.
