He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Grindley (Goth) and Frank J. Grindley. He is survived by: his children, Debra, Carol and Erick; his wife Elizabeth Grindley (McDonald); his son James F. Grindley; and also Kenneth "Jack" Grindley of Porter Ranch, California.. He is also survived by two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
