Calkins (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Calkins and Dorothy Calkins; and his sister Marilyn Skelcy. He is survived by: his wife Sally Calkins; his children, Ellen Paulus (Ken) and Jason Calkins (Kristina); his grandchildren, Kate Paulus, Trevor Paulus, Thomas Paulus, Wade Paulus, Carter Calkins, Samuel Calkins, Anna Calkins and Charles Calkins; and his sisters, Cindy Hoefling of Saginaw, MI and Diane Vogtmann of Bay City, MI..
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McGilley State Line Chapel (12301 State Line Rd, Kansas City, MO 64145).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in his memory to The American Lung Association.
