With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Ruffolo (Kansas City, Missouri), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jean left this world on January 11, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Ruffolo; her siblings, Notzie Rotolo and Ann Mangiaracina; and her siblings-in-law, Vita Rotolo, Anthony "PeeWee" Amaro and George Mangiaracina.
She is survived by: her daughter Maria Jean Moore; her grandchildren, Taylor Moore (Betsey) and Michael Moore (Stacey); her great grandchildren, Giuliana, Thomas Gibson, Lillian, Sienna and Benedict; and her siblings, Lucille Amaro, Minnie Scardino (Jay) and George Sola (Rama). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (911 E Missouri Ave, Kansas City, MO 64106). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64138).
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Holy Rosary Parish; St. Luke's Hospice; Happy Bottoms; or Newhouse Women's Shelter.
