She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Lapsley and Katie Lapsley; her brothers, Frank Lapsley and Ronnie Lapsley; her nephew Shroy Lapsley; and her grandson Christian D West "Boots".

She is survived by: her children, Jammel, Joe and Katisha Lapsley; her siblings, Kenny, Edward Lapsley, Joann and Shelia Lapsley; and her niece Shakina Lapsley. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, many great- grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
