He was predeceased by : his parents, Nathaniel Richardson and Berta L. Richardson; and his sister Joana Richardson. He is survived by : his son NaJee Hanam; and his siblings, Joyce Crawford and Llyod Richardson (Maria). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Watkins Heritage Chapel (4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64130). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
