He is survived by: his sister Elaine Carter (Evans); his aunt Esther; his friend Jessye Faye Anderson; his wife Nina Sharon Carter (Escoe); his daughters, Christy Harris (Michael) and Kimberly Tillman (Steve); his grandchildren, Avani, Madison, Roberto II and Michael, Jr.; his niece Kellye; and his great-niece Ashlee.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Baptist Church of Greater Kansas City (8524 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64138). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
