It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacquelyn Sue Sweeney of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Pearce and Agnes Pearce; her brothers, Donald Pearce and Ronald Pearce; her son Steven Sweeney; her nieces and nephews, Dawn Pearce, Carol Sweeney Fletcher, Michael Pearce and Robert Sweeney; and her great-nephew Michael Anthony Pearce.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Sweeney; her children, Thomas Sweeney (Maureen) and Susan Sweeney (Kevin Fulks); and her grandchildren, Erin Sweeney Walsh (Michael), Brendan Sweeney, Megan Sweeney and Judy Pearce. She is also survived by her sister-in-law of 68 years, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (8510 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114).
Memorials may be given to Kansas City Hospice House.
