It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irl Douglas Wasson of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on August 2, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Irl Bernard Jr.; and his grandparents, Irl Bernard Wasson, Mary Margaret Wasson, Roscoe Rollins and Inies Rollins.

He is survived by: his son Aaron Douglas Mathias; his grandsons, Aiden Douglas Wasson, Collin Douglas Schmidt and Gavin James Schmidt; his wife Audrey; his mother Beverly Russell of Kansas City, Missouri.; his siblings, Debbie Dierking (Dennis) and Dan (Leslie); his sister-in-law BethAnn Mayfield; and his daughter Lauren Schmidt (Steve). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and their children.
