He was predeceased by: his parents, Dover Alice and Hobart Barbee; and his sister Wilma Joyce Taylor. He is survived by: his significant other Velverene Barbee; his children, Courtney Connor (Lynise), Shelly Barbee and Roxane Hancock (Charles); his grandchildren, Brittany, Mariah Connor, Montel Ratliff, Cyrus, Cenae', Chiya Hancock and Christopher Alexander; his niece Marguerite Taylor; and his nephew Earl Jeffery Taylor.
