He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dixson and Dollie Mae Dixson; his wife Sallie Dixson; and his son Michael Dixson. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia and Karen (James Perkins); his grandchildren, Collin, Justin and Audrey; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Wesley, Izabelle and Hazelyn. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (3530 Chelsea Dr, Kansas City, MO 64128). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
