Harlan E. May Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harlan E. May (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Princeton, Missouri, who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Garel May and Naomi May (Hodges); his former wife Donna; and his siblings, Lawrence, Harold, Kenny, Richard and Theresa Shutt.

He is survived by: his wife Delores May; his daughters, Dawn Parvin (Rob), Tina Brodzinski (Jeff) and Joann Acuff (Brance); his stepson Thomas Sudik; his grandchildren, Alayna Parvin, Sage Parvin, Maddie Morton, Landon Brodzinski, Hunter Brodzinski and Kayci Brodzinski; and his sisters, Karen Curnes, Sheila May and Ellen Mason. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gashland Evangelical Presbyterian Church (8029 N Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64118). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mound Grove Cemetery (1818 N River Blvd, Independence, MO 64050).
