With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn Davis Sr. (Kansas City, Missouri), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 1, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Davis and Verla Williams; his wife Brenda Davis; his son William Anthony Davis; and his siblings, Ivy Jefferson, Linda Lanxter, Carleen Lewis, Ronald "Butch" Lewis and Raymond Lewis.
He is survived by: his son Glenn Davis Jr.; his siblings, Harold Davis, Norman Davis (Marcia), Marvin Davis, Jerome Davis (Kimberly), Valerie Ramsey (James), Altamease Theriot, Stephanie Garrett (Ronnie) and Theresa Davis; and his grandchildren, Marlene Adio Alaga, Monique Bridges and William Davis. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Funeral Chapels - Missouri (1800 Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64109). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lawrence A. Jones & Sons Chapel Funeral Chapel (1800 Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64109). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
