He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Daniel Schulte and Nellie Grace Milne; his wife Mary; his brother William Dallas Schulte; his children, Dr. Stephen Schulte (Debbie) and Susan Ronnekamp (Kurt); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Jon Schilling), Anna (Philip Marinello) and Jacob Ronnekamp; his great grandchildren, Asher, Katelyn, Emma, Olivia, Brynlee, Grant, Hazel Schilling, Ezra and Leeland Marinello; and his sister Mary Marie Miller.
