With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Joseph McLiney Jr. (Kansas City, Missouri), who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George McLiney and Ellen Dowling McLiney. He is survived by: his wife Laurie McCaskill McLiney; his children, Eddie (Ann), Joey (Liesl), Mark (Jennifer), Amy (Duck Perry) and Kevin (Pam); his grandchildren, Libby McLiney, Rachel Orscheln (Dustin), Maile Macdonald, Jenny Keenan (Tommy), Ford, Max, Jack, Mary Campbell, Josie, Meg Nestor (Steven), Ellie Logan (Jack), Kip Hart (Maggie), Mimi Gullapalli (Pawan), George Hart, Katie Wiewel Maggie (Jacob), Kevin, Abby (Paul Henton) and Daniel; and his siblings, Mary McLiney, Joe (Janie McLiney) and Anne (Bud Cox).
A rosary was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Visitation Parish (5141 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64112). Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
