Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint George Ferrel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Raymond Hunt and Ruth Leigh Jewett of Butler, MO.; and his sister Barbara Jane. He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Leah Rea Batton, Carly Shay Ritchey, Rita Lorraine, Sebastian Lee Greiner and Joshua Michael Brown; his daughter Lindy Shay Wheeler (Keith Alan Wheeler); and his sister Mary Francis Panuco.
He sacrificed and spent a large majority of his time caring for the sick and dying, reaching out to the lonely, making charity and missions trips to the Navajo reservations and even going door to door trying to win more souls to the Lord.
