As we bid Fred farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Fred is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Freidrich Koster, Jr. and Mabel Sutcliffe Lakin Koster; his wife Sophia Luise Ignatia Maier; and his daughter Susan. He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Judy) and Karen; and his pet Bruno. He is also survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a niece, two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KC Pet Project, Special Olympics, or the Ahearn Fund at Kansas State University.
