She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Thomas and Laura Thomas (Sims); her husband Leon Johnson; her son Richard "Ricky" Darrell; her siblings, Paul Edward, Milton W. Thomas, Alice Burdette and Lucille Hoffmeier; and her stepfather C. O. "Jack" Drake.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa "Terri" Ann, Terri Yoder (Tony) of Concord, NC and Sherri Miner (Steve) of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Katlyn Smith (Brandon), Ryan Yoder (Erika), Hannah Burton (Sam), Nathan Miner and Rebecca Potter (Josh); her great grandchildren, Aaron, Lexie, Jayse Burton, Gabriel Smith and Brady Yoder; her brother-in-law Don Hoffmeier; and her pet Buster. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
When Covid hit the nation, she moved in with her daughter, Sherri.
