We bid farewell to Eugene C. Romine of Kansas City, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 95. Eugene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Romine and Mable Romine; his grandfather Grampie; his children, Linda Kay Romine and James Dale "Jim" Romine; and his great grandchild Xavier.
He is survived by: his wife Emogene Romine; his sister Etta Stratton of Dallas; his daughter Brenda Hydeman of Blue Springs, MO.; his grandchildren, Cindy Gibson of Liberty, MO, Vicki Romine of Blue Springs, MO, Matthew Hydeman of Raytown, MO and Andrew Hydeman of Kansas City, MO; and his great grandchildren, Alexandria Romine, Kaitlyn Romine and Landon Rojas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606).
