Eddie L. Davis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2025, Eddie L. Davis of Kansas City, Missouri, born in Dermott, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ananias Davis and Viola Davis; his siblings, Raleigh of George, AD, Saul, Charles, Ruth, Willa Mae, Helen and Carrie; his children, Vickie Davis-Seals, Bernard and Gregory; and his granddaughter Katherine.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Davis; his daughter Tammie Davis; his great grandchild Mykal Ross (Jahtziri); and his great great grandchild Amabella. He is also survived by two granddaughters, six grandsons, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (3530 Chelsea Dr, Kansas City, MO 64128). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Mount Moriah Cemetery South (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
On a state and national level, Eddie made significant contributions to the New Era District, beginning as a Junior Layman Counselor at the age of 19.
