She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rethman and Marcella Rettele Rethman; and her siblings, Juanita Rethman, Marceil Fouraker (Sis), Betty Himmelberg, Judy Hein, Walter Rethman (Pete), John and Tom Rethman.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Vrtiska of Pawnee City, Nebraska.; her children, Shannon Vrtiska Nelson (Kent) and Damian Vrtiska (Sheila); her siblings, Mary Sander (Glenn), Carol Karnowski and Wayne Rethman (Marlene); her grandchildren, Kyle Vrtiska (Katelyn), Derek Vrtiska (Kassie), Cody Lewandowski (Cole), Christian Vrtiska and Macy Vrtiska; her great grandchildren, Quinn, Finley, Capri, Lennon, Crue and Leighton; and her close friend Charles Burnett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
