He was predeceased by: his daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Jane Bales and Peggy Jean Welch. He is survived by: his wife Martha Louise Lindsay; his son Donald Richard Kinzle; and his sister Evelyn Cypret. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
