He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Creed Roy Sr. and Trennie Rosalie Roy (Pennel); his sisters, Edith Davidson and Lula Mae Lamb; his siblings-in-law, Walt Davidson, Claude Lamb and Lora Roy; his nieces, Joy Anderson and Janet Davidson; and his nephew Gary Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Dennis Roy III (Brooke) and Michelle Yarnall (Jeff); his stepsons, Eric Winkler (Sara) and Michael Winkler (Jeanie); his brother Jackie Roy; his grandchildren, Drew Roy (Michaela), Jake Yarnall, Sophie Roy, Josh Yarnall, Daniel Roy, Owen Winkler, Chase Winkler and Korben Winkler; and his great grandchild Daxton Roy. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
