He was predeceased by: his wife Josepha Pulido Ramirez; and his brother Ishmael Ramirez. He is survived by: his sisters, Lupe Rios and Velia Ochoa; and his children, David R. Ramirez, Zita Ramirez (John Rieder), Janet Baggett, Vicky Baggett (George), Gloria Smith (Kevin), Susan Ramirez (John Redmond), Alfred Ramirez (Kristi), Michael Ramirez (Laurie), Sara Ramirez (Sean) and Stephanie Lindsey (William).

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Catholic Church (3333 Broadway Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64111).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Nature Conservancy (https://www.nature.org) in his memory.
