He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel McHugh, Sr. and Rosemary McHugh. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel M. McHugh III and Roy McHugh; his daughter-in-law Amie; his grandchildren, Tess, Ella and Daniel; and his siblings, Rosemary "Reds", Tom (Nancy), Kathy (Glen), Margie (Bob) and Betty (Tom). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Passantino Bros. Funeral Home (2117 Independence Ave, Kansas City, MO 64124). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
