It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connelly Newton McDaniel Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth McDaniel (Bessie) and Connelly McDaniel; and his siblings, Jimmy and Karen. He is survived by: his wife Linda McDaniel; his children, Caroline Oleinik (DeWitt), Stephanie Summers (Paul), Daphne Kolb (Eric) and Bryce McDaniel (Liz); his grandchildren, Jennie McDonald (Matthew), Thomas Oleinik (Laura), Timothy Oleinik, Landon, Elise Summers, Brandon and Justin Kolb; and his grandchildren-in-law, Lucy Clark (Gary) and Robert McDaniel (Nancy). He is also survived by great-granddaughter on the way; his siblings.
