We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2024, at the age of 29, Ciara Marie Steeby Nero (Kansas City, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Floyd Steeby (Jake) and Rosa Mary Wells. She is survived by: her parents, Cornelius Rucker and Karen Rucker; her husband Deron Nero; her son Deron Nero Jr.; her mother-in-law Diane McCray; her grandmother Mary Steeby; her siblings, Michael Coats (Erin), Carlos Jones, Channel Smith (Reginald Sr), Chontae Rucker and Constance Rucker; and her siblings-in-law, James McCray, Anthony Nero and D'Adria Dixon (Tyrone). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.
She was a part of the Leadership network program for the Fort Worth area and made contributions to the STEM program.
