We bid farewell to Charles Arthur Garney (Kansas City, Missouri), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 13, 2024 at the age of 92. Charles Arthur touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Garney and LaFaun Garney (Wheeler); his sister Beth Garney; his half-brother Edward Garney; and his sister Ann Livingston (Garney).

He is survived by: his wife Patty of Year's Eve; his daughters, Dr. Jane Garney, Anne Garney, Sarah Garney, Lynda (Garney), Honea (Dickey), Lisa Garney, Julie (Garney) and Andrews (Chris); his grandchildren, Nick (Cara), Kathryn (Andrew), Charlie Mac, Cooper, Beau, Hudson, Connor and Preston; his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Adelaide, Eloise, Hannah, Betsy, Levi and Audrey; his niece Kay Ash (Mike Vogt); and his nephew Tom Livingston. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to KU Endowment, 3901 Rainbow Blvd., Mail Stop 3012, Kansas City, KS 66160, to benefit the Charles A. Garney Alzheimer's Opportunity Fund. Online contributions may be made at http://www.kuendowment.org.
