She was predeceased by: her husband Charles R. Kauffman; and her daughter Brenda Mart. She is survived by: her siblings, Amos Clampit, Jr. and Olida Ashby; and her son Robby D. Kauffman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
