He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Azarskis and Marie Mazeda Azarskis; and his siblings, Raymond Azarskis and Beatrice Despain. He is survived by: his son Eugene J. Azarskis (Joni); and his grandchildren, Abbey Azarskis of Spring Valley and Joey Azarskis of Lake Ozark, Missouri. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
