Sylvia Horton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, at the age of 88, Sylvia Horton of Kahoka, Missouri, born in Maryville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reabern Smith and Gertrude Pearl Gregory (England); her husband Jack Thomas Horton; her children, Debra Farmer and David Gregory; her great grandchild Ryker Horton; and her siblings, Harold Gregory, Albert Gregory and Hazel LeMaster.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Dean Horton (Joanne) of Oregon, Gregory Allen Horton (Janie) of Kahoka, MO. and Douglas Dale Horton (Lisa) of Luray, MO.; her grandchildren, Matthew Horton (Nichole), Daniel Horton, Timothy Horton, Cristie Horton, Mikele Farmer (Christina), Melissa Schutte (Jason), Krista Little, Ethan Horton (Morgan), Andy Horton and Jason Horton; and her great grandchildren, Tre Morris, McKenzie Horton, Lane Horton, Danielle Horton, Chasity Horton, Josiah Horton, Brayden Farmer, Landen Farmer, Jamison Farmer, Victoria Schutte, Dylan Schutte, Emma Little, Cody Little, Jr., River Shannon, MaKennah Horton, Jackson Horton and Carter Horton. She is also survived by other great grandchild due in March, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Revere Cemetery.
