We bid farewell to Rita Barry of Kahoka, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 5, 2025 at the age of 64. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor E. and Mary D. Young (Briley); her in-laws, Donald and Janice Barry; her siblings, Joan Hayden (Bill), Sandra Ringenberg (Bill), Victoria Burks (Donald), Evelyn O'Day, Victor Young Jr., Gary Simmons, Jeff LeMaster, Floyd Sommers, Steve Toben and Stanley Logsdon; her nephews, Chad Young, Larry Hayden and Nathanial Logsdon; and her niece Brigetta Logsdon.
She is survived by: her husband Vaughn Barry; her daughters, Janice Barnes (James) of Alexandria, MO., Misty Osbon (Kevin) of Wayland, MO. and Faye Tarpein (Mark) of Kahoka, MO.; her grandchildren, Nicholas Tarpein, Odie Cook III (Heidi Rose), Oakley Cook, Karringtin Tarpein, Lynnlee Tarpein and Lennix Tarpein; her siblings, Bill Young (Brenda) of Kahoka, MO., Ruby Simmons of Kahoka, MO., Ava Carter of Kahoka, MO. and Diana Toben of Kahoka, MO.; and her siblings-in-law, Rex Barry of Canton, MO., Teresa Logsdon of Canton, MO. and Paula Barry of Avon, IN.. She is also survived by grand-dogs, cats, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home (975 E Main St, Kahoka, MO 63445). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
