He was predeceased by: his parents, David Glenn and Mary Sherrill (Anderson); his wife Letha (Haage); his sons, Kenneth and Stephen Sherrill; his grandsons, Adam Seaver and Jason Carrico; his sisters, Edna Day, Ruth Deilling, Esther Nichols and JoAnn Ferguson; and his siblings-in-law, Stanley, Kenneth Haage, Earl Day, Gary Justice, Bernard Deilling, Dale Gommels, George Beck, Robert Simmons, Floyd Nichols, Mary Beck and Mildred Simmons.
He is survived by: his daughter Virginia Seaver of Kahoka; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Sherrill, Tommy Seaver (Melody), Janessa Erb (Jason), Jennifer Dobson (Paul), David Sherrill and Anthony Sherrill (Carley); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Sherrill, Aaron Dodds, Nathan, Nole Seaver, Maverick, Michael Sherrill, Christian, Paige, Lexi Sherrill, Alexis and Blake Dobson; his daughters-in-law, Linda Sherrill of Wyaconda and Melissa Sherrill of Kahoka; his sisters-in-law, Goldie Laymon (Bud) of Revere, Esther Justice of Williamstown and Marjorie Haage of Hamilton, Illinois; his niece Terrisa Yates of Peaksville; and his nephew Larry David Cooper of Hamilton, Illinois. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
