He is survived by: his spouse Pamela L. Hammel; his daughter Jessica L. Byrne of Keokuk; his grandchildren, Drake Michael D. Virgil and Keira Halliburton; his sister-in-law Kathy Palmer (Jerry) of Keokuk; his niece Cyndee Bachman-Stephens of The Colony, TX; and his nephews, Harry Whiteside, Jr. of Fairbanks, IA and Tony Whiteside.
