She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick George and Josibelle Whitehead (Sullivan); her husband Charles Hayden Alderton; her siblings, Frederick Whitehead, Lenna Benge and Hazel Watson; and her siblings-in-law, Wallace Watson, Jesse Benge and Norma Whitehead.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Alderton (Candy) of Wyaconda, Jeff Alderton (Sue) of New London and Kathy Calvert (Kent) of Kahoka; her grandchildren, C. J., Chris, Hillary and Caleb; and her great grandchildren, Lance, Nick, Charlie, Hannah, Gavin and Callie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
