It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula Belle Laffoon of Kahoka, Missouri, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert McClellan and Mellie McClellan (Wood); her husband Robert A. Laffoon; her daughter Lettye Elizabeth "Beth" Lewis; her son-in-law Fred Buschling; her grandson Sean Myers; her great grandchild Lexie Smith; her siblings, Johnny, Vernon McClellan and Thelma Whitecotton; and her siblings-in-law, Howard Laffoon, Gene Laffoon, Zelph Rush, Fred Whitecotton, Kay McClellan and Paula McClellan.
She is survived by: her children, Gretchen Myers (David) of Braymer, Sara Kathleen Buschling of Wayland and Andrew Robert "Bud" Laffoon (Beverly) of Wayland; her grandchildren, LaShelle "Shelly" Young (Jeff) of Blue Springs, Heidi Laffoon of Columbia, Lindsey Jones (Tom) of North Liberty, Brock Buschling (Shelby) of Kahoka, Nikolas Buschling of Wayland, Sara Smith (Mike) of Revere, Brandon Lewis of Burlington, Ryan Lewis of Kahoka and Megan Parsons (Brandon) of Dearborn; her great grandchildren, Tyler Kaufman (Stephanie), Trenton Hauk (Deondra), Alyssa Hauk, Mallory Jones, Kinley Jones, Kaytelenn Buschling, Avery Smith, Rylea Lewis, Amarah Lewis, Jude Parsons and Harlow Parsons; her great great grandchildren, Trysten, Taryn Hauk, Tayten Smith and Trinity LaBonte; her siblings, Bobbi Rush of Batesville, Gary McClellan of Mountain Home and Leonard; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Laffoon of Milan, Deloris Laffoon of Kahoka and Mekey Laffoon of Lebanon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
