She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. "Skeet" Young and Ava Young (Barwick); her siblings, Joe Young, Wanda Davis and Jeanette Zinnert; her in-laws, Dennis York, Ernie Morris, Lyle Davis and Marilyn Young; and her nephews, Danny Scharfenberg, James Davis, Chris Young and Noah Gould.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alvin Young of Montrose, IA, Larry Young (Joyce) of Kahoka, MO. and Vera Morris of Kahoka, MO.; her siblings-in-law, Betty Young and Wayne Zinnert of Kahoka, MO.; and her nieces and nephews, Terry Beth Young, Tracy Sturm (Jim), Kim McNamar (Shannon), Melissa Foss (Randal), Roberta Webster (Pat), Heather Martinez (Claude), Denise Shannon (Matt), Skeeter Zinnert (Jay), Jody Amos (Tommy), Sarah Coulter (Peter), Eric Young (Andrea) and Josh Young.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kahoka Christian Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
