With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Henry Brookhart of Kahoka, Missouri, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on September 26, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Otis and Vera F. Brookhart (Welker); and his wife Carol Sue McCoy. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Jacob Brookhart (Liz) of Kahoka, Joshua Brookhart (Ashley) of Colona and Leah Sayre (Trae) of Milan; his siblings, Dr. Gary Brookhart (Caring) of Durham and Mariann Bullerd (John) of Hallsville; and his grandchildren, Amber Lee, Kendra Allis Sayre, Piper Nicole, Eloise Kate Brookhart, Emmie Sue Brookhart and Anna Kay Brookhart. He is also survived by several nieces, cousins and friends.
