He was predeceased by: his father Henry O'Day; his brother Robert Gale O'Day; and his nephew Andy Kirchner. He is survived by: his former wife Evelyn (Young); his mother Vanetta Dalton (Dust) of Kahoka; his daughters, Patricia Trone (Danny), Tammi Hurt (Roger), Jeanne Springer, Rita Brunk and Lisa O'Day; his grandchildren, Trever Hurt (Ashley), Clinton Davis, Rebecca Davis, Miranda Justice (Jakobie), Alex O'Day, Tiffani O'Day, Courtney Springer, Vanessa Springer, Jordan Brunk, Dreston Brunk, Nevaeh Stewart, Xaria O'Day and Xarienne O'Day; and his sister Sandra Kirchner (Wayne) of Kahoka, MO. He is also survived by 7 Great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Gary are suggested to the Chambersburg Cemetery.
